Maintenance is severely lacking!!! Shower fixtures needed serious work, with leaks and half-functioning elements. The entire building shows its age, with stained carpets giving a bad impression. Invest in some new furniture while you're at it!!!

the hotel is right on the river with a peaceful atmosphere, and it's just a short drive to all the attractions in Mackinaw City, making it a perfect base for exploring the area while enjoying the stunning views from my room.

I received a personal call to check on my arrival after running late, which was a nice touch. My room and the grounds felt clean, and the flowers on the dock really added to the charm. Unfortunately, there were a few issues. I noticed some parts of the room could use a bit more attention, like the worn linens and a refrigerator that wasn’t exactly spotless. The lack of room service also caught me off guard, especially on a busy stay. Overall, it had a great atmosphere, just needs a bit more focus on cleanliness and upkeep.

The kids loved the pool, and the staff was super friendly during our stay. We appreciated its proximity to Cheboygan State Park for some outdoor fun. It felt cozy, and I even scored a wine glass when I asked at the front desk.
